| Windows XP Software Configuration for Wireless |

Follow the steps to configure your laptop to work on the wireless network. Step 1. Click on "Start" and then "Control Panel".
Step 2. Double-click on the "Network Connections" icon
Step 3. Right click on your wireless network connection and select "Properties".
Step 4. Select "Internet Protoco"l (TCP/IP) in the "Wireless Network Connection Properties" window then click on "Properties".
Step 5. Both options should be set to obtain an address automatically. Click on "OK" to return to the "Wireless Network Connection Properties" window.
Step 6. Click on "Configure" in the "Wireless" properties window
Step 7. If you are in a designated Rutgers Newark wireless area and click on "Refresh", NCS-WLAN will be listed under "Available" networks.
